$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gconf-cleaner 

gconf-cleaner is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gconf-cleaner package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gconf-cleaner *

You will get with gconf-cleaner package name, version, architecture and description in a table

gconf-cleaner package basic information:
